 Dr Per Heden

 Per HedenDr Per Heden began his medical training at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, and entered plastic surgery training in 1978. He early developed interest in the then emerging field of microsurgery and subsequently became a driving force in establishing microsurgery practice in the region. In 1981 this lead to the first microsurgical operation performed in Stockholm.

In 1982, he was offered a position in Australia.This was followed by plastic surgery research in the U.S. under Professor Elof Eriksson in Illinois, and at Harvard University in Boston. In 1990 Dr Per Heden attained associate professorship at Karolinska Institute, and became Head of the microsurgery unit at Sabbatsberg Hospital.

Dr Per Heden founded Akademikliniken in 1991, which is now Scandinavia’s largest private hospital that specializes in plastic surgery. He has published more than 50 scientific articles, and is a member of many national and international plastic surgical societies.

Dr Hedén has developed several new techniques applying to the use of form stable anatomical breast implants. He has written several textbook chapters on breast augmentation and he has been invited to several countries where he has performed operations to demonstrate his techniques.

 

Dr Kai-Uwe Schlaudraff

Dr Kai-Uwe Schlaudraff graduated from Medical School at the University of Freiburg where he received his MD degree in fundamental and clinical research on angiogenesis and growth factors in  cardiovascular surgery. After having trained in London and Paris he completed his general surgery residency in Basel and received his training in plastic surgery as a resident and registrar at the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG). He currently practices in his private clinic in Geneva with a special clinical interest in body contouring through VASER ultrasound assisted liposuction as well as breast surgery. Dr Schlaudraff is part of various research projects and clinical work with a focus on adipose derived stem cells, fat grafting and regenerative treatments for face and body.
As a medical consultant Dr Schlaudraff is also working with several companies in the development of innovative treatments in plastic surgery. Dr Schlaudraff is Board Certified by the Swiss (FMH) and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and is a member of the Swiss (SSCPRE), American (ASAPS) and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
(ISAPS). He has been invited to 100+ scientific lectures at Swiss, European and International congresses and was appointed Treasurer of the International Society of Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). Chris InglefieldMr Christopher Inglefield is one of the UK’s most pioneering plastic surgeons. Dr Jacky Govrin-Yehudain, M.D.  is a recognized authority in all aspects of breast surgery with over 20 years in clinical practice.
